Jason Pitt is a true Southern gentleman. Along with his beautiful smile and sparkling eyes, this Georgia native exudes Southern charm. Just turning 20 years old, Jason has made his mark on the porn world and continues to gain loving fans and earn the respect of his colleagues. But it wasn’t an easy road for Jason. His determination and perseverance pulled him through a difficult time and helped make him the person he is today. You can follow Jason on Twitter, Facebook and on his blog, “A Little Bit of Pitt.”
MATT: Hey Jason! I hope I caught you at a good time.
JASON: Yeah, it’s fine.
MATT: You’re in Vegas right now, aren’t you?
JASON: Yeah.
MATT: What’s going on in Vegas?
JASON: Nothing really, I’m not old enough to do anything so I just like to go to the shows here.
MATT: It’s a wonderful city. I love it.
JASON: I’m in love with it too. I don’t think I’ll ever leave. I think this is my home town forever now.
MATT: Yeah, just move into the Palms.
JASON: I live right next to it.
MATT: Oh, you live in Vegas? For some reason I thought you were living in West Hollywood now.
JASON: No, it’s too much for me. It’s too big out there. I go out there and meet like six of Lady Gaga’s hairdressers and everybody has their own stories. It’s just to big for me.
MATT: I don’t recall Lady Gaga winning Best Hair from Unzipped. (Jason won the 2009 Best Hair award from Unzipped)
JASON: Oh, yeah.
MATT: A good friend of mine asked me why I wanted to interview you and I said, “The hair! Look at his hair!”
JASON: [laughing]

MATT: You just turned 20 years old, right?
JASON: Yeah.
MATT: So what drove you into the escorting and porn industry?
JASON: Porn was sort of… In high school I maintained a 3.7 [grade point average]. I was really hyper in high school and really horny, but I had really good grades. So my friends and I decided to sit down and apply to porn companies and three days later I get a call from Jet Set who asked me to fly out the next week to film a movie, so that’s how I got started in that, and it was easy money and I liked doing it. And then kind of started doing escorting. I did a live internet show with Jason Sechrest and Brandon Baker, who’s like my best friend, introduced me to escorting like three months later. He gave me his card and I called him up, said I wanted to try it out. I flew to Maine, had dinner with a client and made a lot of money off him and then I won an escort award for Best New Comer, so I just kept doing it.
MATT: The escort award, what’s that called, the Hookie?
JASON: Yeah.
MATT: Until recently I had never heard of that award. Congratulations on winning that.
JASON: Thank you.

MATT: The past year, 2009, was a real breakout year for you. You won a few awards; we mentioned Best Hair from Unzipped and the Hookie for Best New Comer, and Gorgeous Boys voted you Most Gorgeous Boy of 2009. How did it feel to win that award?
JASON: That was good. I wasn’t expecting that. I was actually shocked with it. I was still shocked about the best hair award and then I got an email saying that, and I was completely stunned about it.
MATT: What is the creepiest experience you’ve had in escorting?
JASON: I had a client who… I don’t have sex with clients for money, so when they call me up I stress to them the fact that I only do massages and things like that. So I get there and he’s a little crazy. He was really dominant and was yelling. He was the computer client that I blogged about. I think he was crazy, I’m not sure. He kept talking to me during the massage and wanted the massage to be two hours long, so that was kind of weird for someone to book me for a two hour massage. But I did that and he couldn’t pay for it in the end. It was sort of scary. His apartment or condo was a wreck and it was just scary altogether.
MATT: I read your tips on you blog about your advice about escorting. I guess a lot of that advice came from similar experiences.
JASON: Yeah.
MATT: I thought it was great advice for people in that line of work.
JASON: I felt the need to blog about it because if I had just started in the industry and I hadn’t had Brandon Baker and fellow escorts to help me along I wouldn’t have known what to do. So I figured I would put together a small guide for people who are just starting out or people that don’t know to much about it and help them be safe, especially those who do more than just massages with their clients.

MATT: I’ve been reading your blog for a while now, A Little Bit of Pitt, and I love the name, but I really love the blog. Why don’t you tell the readers a little about your blog?
JASON: I don’t want to base the entire blog around porn, because that’s not exactly who I am. I mean, yeah, I shoot porn and yes, I am an escort. But there is way more to me than what you see on camera so I figured I could do a blog and let people get to know me for who I am and the things I see apply. The headline of my blog is just real life. I’m not just some porn star who is just known for going out and having sex and thinking I’m superior to everybody. I don’t think I’m better than any other person on the planet. I do normal things, I like Ferris wheels, I get into arguments with friends, we set off alarms, and that’s what I blog about. That’s what my readers like.
MATT: And you really are a very down-to-earth person. I think I read that a lot of people before they get to know you think that maybe you are a little arrogant or a bit of a diva. I spoke to you the other day and I know for a fact you’re not a diva at all. Why do you think that some people get that impression before they get to know you?
JASON: Maybe it’s the porn thing because I got that impression from a lot of porn stars when I first met them. When I first started in the industry I thought some of them were the coolest thing in the world, and then when I met them at the Gay VN’s they were arrogant because they thought they thought they were the coolest things in the world because they did porn or something like that. I decided not to be that way. I stick to my roots and I’m very Southern traditional and I try to be as good a person as I can be. Maybe it’s because I have good hair and I try to take care of myself. I don’t know. But I do get along with everybody. I don’t have one enemy.
MATT: Well, I really do think you have that Southern charm, and I can say that because I actually live a few hours north of where you’re from in Georgia.
JASON: Oh, wow!
MATT: Of course going out west, it’s a whole different mentality. I think people out there are surprised by the way you treat them, and they don’t realize that is just part of being a Southern gentleman.
JASON: And I get that from a lot of people too, especially when I go out to California and go to dinner with new people and meet new people, they say, “oh, I wasn’t expecting you to be like that.” I don’t know, my mom and little brother, they keep me down to earth and they won’t let me forget that, and I won’t forget that. I am proud of how I was raised and who I am, and if I appreciate it other people will too.
MATT: Never forget you’re from the South and never lose the Southern charm. Something else that I’ve noticed about you is that you are… I’m not going to say religious, but spiritual and philosophical. Why don’t you talk about that a little bit?
JASON: I was raised strong Southern Baptist because I was raised by my grandma for most of my life and she was Southern Baptist. I have a lot of strong views towards God but I’ve learned to do my own research and come up with my own beliefs. I take a lot of things from Buddhism and other beliefs. No matter what you believe you can’t let go of what you were raises as, so I was raised a Southern Baptist, so I still pray. It’s just the way I was raises. I do enjoy philosophy, I love Dan Brown and how educated he is in his field. I love just learning new stuff like where Buddha came from and the points that Gandhi made. I don’t know how to put it. It’s a very touchy subject. I just have a lot of different beliefs from a lot of different religions.
MATT: I’m very much the same way. I think when you look at the world’s religion there is so much that ties in together, and when you begin to study them you begin to see a bigger picture. I see exactly where you’re coming from.
JASON: Everything has something in common. Everything is on a balanced scale in my eyes. Everything has something good and bad. So, the main part of my belief is balance, like I know that if I do something good I’ll get something good in return and if I do something bad I look for something bad to happen.

MATT: You’re really big on Twitter and Facebook, and one thing I’ve noticed is that you really stay positive. I’ve noticed some of the other porn stars getting into public fights and slamming each other on Twitter for the world to see. You do a nice job of avoiding that. What are your thoughts as far as all of that public drama?
JASON: I just graduated high school last year and I was so sick of the drama, so sick of being in the group I was in. This is supposed to be a professional world and that’s the way I look at it. I look at porn like going to work. When it comes to porn and stuff like that, and the whole politics thing, it’s strictly business. I get into fights with anybody, I don’t look to get into fights with anyone for publicity, but if someone wants to make publicity for themselves and bash me, I’m totally OK with it. I’m not going to say anything back to it because I’m not going to add fire to it. That’s just the way I look at it. It’s a business that should be run like McDonald’s or something like that.
MATT: Well, let’s hope it’s run a little different than McDonald’s.
JASON: Well, I love McDonald’s. It’s my favorite restaurant. I’m not going to lie about it.
MATT: I love it too. I think they put crack or something in their food to keep people coming back.
JASON: Right.

MATT: There’s something I wanted to ask you about, and you tell me if you want to talk about this or not. You were in a serious car accident a few years ago.
JASON: Yeah.
MATT: How did that affect you? I don’t mean just physically, but your outlook and emotionally.
JASON: It doesn’t affect me as much as it use to because I have a lot of support from a lot of my friends, but when the accident happened and I got out of the hospital and saw myself for the first time in the mirror next to my computer I started screaming and crying. It scared me to death. I cried for like 45 minutes because half my face was gone. And I still keep the scars covered up with my bangs. I want to go shorter with it but I’m not comfortable with it even though Chi Chi LaRue and all my friends, they all say it looks fine, it’s a good story. I get where they’re coming from, but I’m not too comfortable with it yet and I still have more surgeries to do. I just have to get those done before I feel more like me again.
MATT: I was going to ask you about the surgeries. Is there one eye that you can’t close completely?
JASON: Yeah, my right eye stays open when I sleep. It doesn’t close all the way. I can’t wear my contacts for too long because the one in my right eye gets dryer quicker. It’s just small stuff like that that just gets to me and irritates me sometimes.
MATT: So the surgeries are going to correct that?
JASON: Yeah, I’ve had three surgeries on my right eyelid ’cause when I had the accident it took my entire eyelid off and my eyebrow and everything, so they keep doing skin grafts from behind my ear like every six months, but when the skin graft heals the scars shrink and pulls it up a little more, so it gradually gets better each time I have the surgery but I just have to keep getting more until it closes all the way.
MATT: I’ll be honest. Since I found out about the accident I have really been looking at your pictures closely and I haven’t been able to notice the first scar or anything.
JASON: Well, I’m glad. When I shoot pictures I shoot from different angles and when I shoot movies and stuff like that I sit down with the directors and tell the the angles that I’m comfortable shooting from and every thing like that so the scar doesn’t show and the eyelid looks like it closes. Like I can’t be shot above my head, like if I’m looking down at my penis while I’m jacking off or something like that; I can’t be shot above my head because you can tell that my eye stays open. Those are just the things that we have to work around.
MATT: Well, that will get better in time. Your skin will relax, the surgeries will do their thing. I just didn’t know a lot of the details other than you were in an accident and had a few surgeries, that’s about the extent of it.
JASON: If you notice in some of my videos my right collar bone sticks out really far. It broke and almost came out of the skin. It’s still a big bump and I need to have it shaved down, I just don’t know if I want another scar on my chest from it.
MATT: You talked about your face, but how much damage did the accident cause?
JASON: Well, we flipped to miss a deer and we plowed into a tree. My seat belt broke my collar bone and three of my ribs. Then the seat belt broke and I went through the windshield and it took off all of the skin on my face. I had torn ligaments in both my legs and I broke my ulna in my right arm and the main bone in my left forearm broke and came though the skin, so I have a scar there where the skin was peeled back and the bone came through. I had three cracked teeth which got pulled three months after the accident. I have the scars on my forehead, I have a scar on my hip from it and I have scars on the top of my head but the hair covers it up.
MATT: Oh my God, Jason, you’re lucky to be alive.
JASON: Oh yeah, yeah. I know, definitely. And I’m thankful every day that I wake up that I’m still alive.
MATT: Someone was really looking out for you. For that seat belt to break and you to go through the windshield like that…
JASON: It was a pretty bad night. I don’t remember the car accident, I don’t remember three weeks before the accident or a month after the accident. But a group of Mormons saw the accident and came over and they sat with me until the ambulance and helicopter got there. They put a divinitive prayer on me and that raised my religious views a lot more, especially being more respectful towards other religions and what they believe. They came to visit me like every other day in the hospital. They drove all the way from my home town to Atlanta just to see me and checked up with me almost every day when I got out of the hospital. They would come to my house. It was just really cool.
MATT: You really don’t remember anything three weeks prior to the accident?
JASON: Yeah, like I don’t remember going to work, I don’t remember making money, I don’t remember going to school. It’s like a complete blank in my head from that period of time. I remember waking up in the hospital sometimes, but it’s just bits and pieces.
MATT: I hope you don’t mind me asking you about that. It’s a fascinating part of your life.
JASON: Hey, I don’t mind talking about it. I’m completely comfortable with it now. It’s meant to be told. I survived something horrible and if I can share the story and save someone else’s life I’ll tell it 3,000 times.
MATT: I’m glad to hear that. Now this year you’ve released a lot of new videos online and on DVD with Cocky Boys, Jet Set Men, Chi Chi LaRue, Jason Sparks. How many have you done this year?
JASON: Let’s see. I’ve done the Jet Set movies, I’ve done the Colt Studios, Falcon Studios, Cocky Boys and a couple of other smaller internet sites.

MATT: What are you looking forward to in 2010?
JASON: 2010, I’m looking at making my site into a bigger site instead of just a blog. I want to start hiring my own models and making something besides the porn that I do for the bigger studios. I want to have my own video page, my own stills page. I think the views I get are like between 1,200 and 1,400 views a day on my blog itself. My blog is pretty good, and if I can turn that into money that’s what I want to do. I want to turn my career into a bigger money making career besides just the porn I do. I’m looking to have everything done by my birthday this year. I want everything to be launched by my twenty-first birthday.
MATT: Wow! That’s great. You’re birthday’s in December, right?
JASON: Yeah, which gives me a year and I’m looking forward to it. I know a lot of good people who have been helping me.
MATT: That’s fantastic. Launch your new site on your birthday and have your first legal drink!
JASON: Well, I don’t drink alcohol so I will probably go and gamble away like a thousand dollars, because I do like to gamble. I gamble illegally every now and then and that’s what I’m going to do the night of my birthday. I’m going to go gamble.
MATT: There you go. Sounds like fun. I read somewhere that you like to walk down the street in your underwear.
JASON: Really? Hmmmm.
MATT: Is that true or just something someone posted about you?
JASON: I think somebody just posted that, but that does sound interesting. I wouldn’t do it during the winter though because it’s way to cold. I don’t like cold weather at all. I love hot weather. But I may do that and record it and post it on my blog just for you.
MATT: Awww, thanks! Well, let me ask you this, is there anything you want to say to your fans?
JASON: Just that you haven’t seen all of me. I haven’t filmed a movie in a few months now but I’m not going anywhere. I plan on being here for a while now. So all throughout my twentieth I want to stay in the industry because there are some really good people here and I have fans from all over the world who I talk to on Facebook and Myspace on a daily basis. When people message me I make sure I get them a reply back. I’ll put them in a folder and if it’s a week later or two days later, they’ll get a reply back because if they sat down and wrote me a message I’ll write them a message back when I have time. Because I’ve sent messages to others to tell them how cool their videos were and I think it’s cool to get a message back from them, but it doesn’t happen; so why not give the pleasure of sending a message back when they look up to somebody?
MATT: Who was the porn star that inspired you to want to become a porn star?
JASON: Honestly, it was Roman Heart. I still look up to him. I like his body a lot. I would never hook up with him because I like to keep him as a fantasy, but he was mine and my best friend’s fantasy. We watched all his videos together and stuff like that, and he was the reason I tried out for porn.
MATT: I really want to thank you for the interview.
JASON: Any time. I want to thank you again for the interview. I think it went really well.
MATT: Thank you, and enjoy Vegas. Have a good night.
JASON: Thank you. You too.
I loved it Jason i hope to meet you some time
